Solution Architect (Security Roadmap and Cloud Selection)

Contract role focused on architecting, standardising, optimising and operationalising an existing Azure platform to enable significant growth and PaaS / cognitive services adoption.

The Co-operative bank was separating from the rest of the group (Funeral Care, Retail, Insurance, etc.) and taking a large element of the technical security services with them. I was engaged to help develop a technical investment roadmap for ICT security and Cloud services, working across all internal groups/teams to ensure a joined-up vision for how security services would be developed and sustained. The roadmap was fully documented, agreed and signed off by senior management teams within a 3-6 month period.
